Love Island – everyone’s favourite dating show – returned to our screens earlier this month. We’re already anticipating another sizzling summer of love in the villa as this year’s Islanders search for their perfect match. It’s a chance to get lost in the drama of other people and become a fly on the wall of relationships.
But it’s not all about trying to find their soulmate – we also love to see what outfits the Islanders are wearing. For us, it’s a chance to check out the latest styles, what’s in fashion, and get ideas for our own wardrobes.

Who is the clothing sponsor for Love Island this year?
This year’s Love Island clothes sponsor is eBay, and for the first time, the cast’s wardrobe consists of pre-loved clothing only, in a bid to step away from the ‘fast fashion’ collaborations it has been associated with in the past. We love the concept and the show’s values this year are right in line with our own!
The new partnership has been ushered in after controversy over the previous sponsor I Saw It First’s association with fast fashion, which had been criticised for encouraging a disposable attitude toward clothing. We can all take steps to choose preloved items which last, and it’s great that such a big show is making strides in the right direction to support the movement of making your wardrobe more sustainable.
We’re delighted to see that Love Island is tackling the issues of fast fashion and encouraging its audience to follow suit.
Bikinis and swimwear
We love the swimwear this season – it’s always the star of the show and catches our eye! We especially love the zingy lime green bikini that Indiyah opted for which she stylishly teamed with oversized sunnies. Amber has also been hotting things up in the swimwear stakes with a velour green bikini which she wore during the Islanders’ first challenge of the series.
We’re predicting that the brightly coloured bikinis favoured by the cast will be big on the beaches this summer, so get yours before you jet away on your holiday. You’ll stand out and dazzle!

Dresses to impress
The Islanders know they need to create a bombshell entrance when they arrive on the show, and we reckon Indiyah nailed it with the preloved turquoise cut-out dress that she wore on the launch night. It was clearly a statement she was after and that’s what she achieved. It’s rocked the media since!

Cargo trousers

The cargo pants look has also been rocked by plenty of big-name influencers and celebs including Dua Lipa and Bella Hadid – so you’ll be in good company if you steal Gemma’s cargo trouser look this summer with a pre-loved pair. It’s easy to dress up and dress down too.
Jumpsuits
Jumpsuits have been making us happy for the last few summers and we’re glad they are here to stay. Nothing shows off a golden summer glow better than a white jumpsuit – and Gemma knows it!
